We are happy to offer small event packages with a catered dinner from our partner, Cafe Do Good. These packages are available for events up to 40 people.

A Celebration for Two
$1,200
This package is for those who want their special occasion to be private and just about the couple. This package includes officiant services, a romantic three-course dinner in a private decorated space, and the option for non-professional photography. Our staff will reach out to you in advance of your dinner to help customize the occasion, including ceremony preferences, food choices, music selection, and more. Spend the evening enjoying each other’s company in a romantic setting as you embark on the rest of your lives together.
An Intimate Affair
$1,200 and up
This package is for those who prefer an intimate gathering, but want a small group of their closest loved ones to join them in the celebration. This package will be consistent with our A Celebration for Two package but for 3-10 people. Total cost will depend on the final guest count and menu selections, but will likely range from approximately $1,200-$1,500.
In Good Company
$1,850 and up
This package is for those who want a more expanded guest list, but still want to keep things on the smaller side. With consistent offerings as the first two packages, this package is for events of 11-40 people. Final costs will depend on the final guest count and menu selections but are expected to range from approximately $1,850-$4,200.
General Questions
Where are these small event packages typically held?
We will typically host these events in the Hill Jock House, which is climate controlled and available year round. In the warmer months, we may also be able to host your event in the barn space.
How far in advance can I book a small event?
You can book a small event as far as two years out or as little as two weeks. We encourage booking at least a few months in advance to ensure your ideal date is available, and that everything about your day goes smoothly. Please reach out to us to start planning your occasion!
What services are included?
We allow up to 5 hours of venue access for these events. We will have the space pre-decorated when you arrive to ensure a beautiful romantic setting for a small ceremony and an intimate dinner. We can officiate the wedding, provide non-professional photography services, and coordinate music playlists. We can either take photos with our own camera and send them to you after the event, or assist you in taking photos with your own device. We do not provide professional photo editing services, and we can only provide photos digitally (not print). We can play music for you through a standard speaker, and we will obtain your input prior to the event about the type of music you would like to hear.
Can I book outside vendors?
Absolutely! If you would like professional photography, DJ, or other services for your event, you are more than welcome to book these services. We are unable to reduce our fees if you elect to pursue these services.
Can I dress up or add other special aspects to the evening?
Of course! These packages are designed to feel just as special as a large, elaborate wedding, but more intimate and less stress. We are happy to accommodate and encourage customizations to help make the evening special and memorable.
Are there noise restrictions?
We will ensure compliance with local noise regulations during your scheduled event. Our staff is happy to provide more detail regarding these policies during a consultation call or in-person tour.
Is the venue space accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, the Hill Jock House and first floor of the Fiske Barn do not require stairs and can be accessed via wheelchair. This is an old and rustic space, so there may be some places with bumps or areas of uneven ground or flooring. Please let us know if further accommodations are needed. We can also allow a car to drive up to event spaces for guests who are in need of additional assistance.
Am I allowed to decorate the venue myself?
Of course! If you have a specific vision and would prefer to decorate the space yourself, you are welcome to. Some restrictions for decorations will apply to ensure that the museum is protected, which our staff will assist you with. We do not permit open flames.
Are there any options to purchase wedding favors?
We have a selection of wedding favors for your guests that align with the theme of the venue. These are available for additional purchase.
Are there hotels nearby for out of town guests?
Yes! There are several hotels available in Chelmsford and in neighboring towns. Our staff are happy to provide some suggestions for hotels.
Do these packages apply for other kinds of small events?
Yes! These packages are not limited to elopements and engagements. If you would like to host another type of small gathering, we can host those events as well, consistent with the size and pricing limits described for these packages.
